Well, A List Apart has definately set themselves apart this week. I cannot begin to describe how surprised and disgusted I am by this, so I'm glad Shelley
says it much better than I ever could:
I was astonished to read the A List Apart article Beyond DOCTYPE: Web Standards, Forward Compatibility, and IE8 and even more astonished to read compliance with the message from Eric Meyer, Molly Holzschlag, and the WaSP organization.[BurningBird]

The Pathology Of The Politics Of Fear At least that's how I first mis-read the title of The psychology of the politics of fear.

I Am A Hippy
|
You are a Hippie
|
You are a total hippie. While you may not wear birks or smell of incense, you have the soul of a hippie.
You don't trust authority, and you do as you please. You're willing to take a stand, even when what you believe isn't popular.
You like to experiment with ideas, lifestyles, and different subcultures.
You always gravitate toward what's radical and subversive. Normal, mainstream culture doesn't really resonate with you.

....And we're back! I finally got some room to setup my server again. It's old and it's crappy, but it runs, for the time being. Service may be spotty, just to warn you.

going dark for a while
FYI: We sold our home, but haven't lined up a new home to buy yet. So we'll be moving into some temporary housing, and I don't know if I'll be able to re-establish Brainopolis any time soon.
