....And we're back! I finally got some room to setup my server again. It's old and it's crappy, but it runs, for the time being. Service may be spotty, just to warn you. ( Dec 17 2007, 09:55:20 PM ) News Permalink

going dark for a while

FYI: We sold our home, but haven't lined up a new home to buy yet. So we'll be moving into some temporary housing, and I don't know if I'll be able to re-establish Brainopolis any time soon. ( Jul 24 2005, 09:00:48 PM ) Personal Permalink

Re: Squirrel Liquor Decanter

I like squirrels, honest. They are cute little mammals with bushy tails and twitchy whiskers, what's not to like?

I still thought the Squirrel Liquor Decanter was too funny for words.

Re: Featuritis vs. the Happy User Peak

* Software that keeps adding feature upon feature until the simple things you used to do are no longer simple, and the whole thing feels overwhelming.[Featuritis vs. the Happy User Peak]

I'm afraid that is where Roller (and others?) are going. Past the point where it fulfills its primary function, but not to the point where people have stopped screaming for this or that.
