MPAA Death Squad? Watch out, or they'll get you too! forelse I was just reading about Javascript Templates when I noticed a cool bit of syntax:
I really like I know there is little hope of getting this added to plain Java, but this would be a great thing for Groovy (if it doesn't already have it). What about other languages? Does Ruby/Python/others have it? I don't recall ever seeing this in Perl or Obj-C, but maybe I just overlooked it? Note: Bloglines stripped the style="white-space:pre" from my Re: The Contribution Society I've got some thoughts on this, versus the Ownership Society, but they haven't gelled yet. So far I just have some ramblings, some holier-than-thou ranting, that doesn't really say anything, nor give an honest portrayal of my self or my thoughts. Am I brave enough to publish them? take charge
Reminds me of the old Zuba billboards (man, that was a long time ago), which showed a pair of those wickedly striped pants and said "Be Different"; to which I always wanted to add "like everybody else". What Mood Are You In?

are you java powered? I was gonna get cool swag, but then there was a stupid form at the end just to download a graphic. Sorry, not even a free T-shirt can tempt me.
Do you remember when the exit strategy of choice was "get bought by Yahoo"? Amazon Friends Have you ever heard of Amazon Friends? I hadn't. Tonight I received an invitation to be someone's "friend", someone I'd never heard of before. I suspected phishing, and went to Amazon manually. It is legit, I guess, though when I searched by my invitor's last name I found someone else. So I'm still suspicious. |
