Gotta say though, that the inability to ping Weblogs is the reason that I forget to visit anyone's sites using Roller, yours included. :) Generally, I go by whatever has a "new blog stuff" indicator on my blogroll, so I tend to forget to check blogs on Roller, Diaryland, etc.
I gave up on the RSS aggregator. Feedreader constantly sucked all the memory and then some, and the only other one I've even attempted is the RSS feed into Trillian, which is inefficient at best, and annoying at worst. And I'm lazy. And blogrolling works.
Have you tried NNTP/RSS? I had no love for aggregators until I tried it. It pulls all your "feeds", and servers them up in NNTP format - so you read them in your newsreader. Very cool.
